Radius, as in the ‘r’ in pir2.org. Which is “pi r squared,” the formula for the area of a circle. I’ve been told this isn’t as obvious as I assume it is, so now you definitely know.

This (old version of this) site validated as XHTML 1.0 Strict and the CSS is (was) valid as well. Need to finish up and check it out again. Made on a Mac, using:
» Wordpress for the backend
» Lightbox 2.0 for the image viewer (currently broken, sigh)
» TextMate, SubEthaEdit, and Transmit for coding
» Adobe Photoshop CS2 CS3 beta for graphics, Processing for animation
» some elements created in InterfaceBuilder and Max/MSP Pixen, a super pixel editor for OS X

The font for RADIUS on the main image previous version is VadeType, a pixel font I’ve been working on, which will be released soon (I hope). Other fonts are Century Gothic and Silkscreen Gunplay.

Tested on every browser I can get my grubby hands on.
» Webkit-based: Safari 2.0, Shiira 1.2.1 and 1.2.2, OmniWeb 5.5 beta 2
» Mozilla-based: Firefox 1.5 (OS X and Win XP), Flock 0.7, Camino 1.0, Netscape 7.0 (Win XP)
» Opera 7.23 (Win XP) and 8.5 (OS X)
» Internet Explorer 6.0 (Win XP) sub-optimal, but not broken
» Internet Explorer 5.0 and Netscape Communicator 4.77 (OS X, in Classic) not recommended, obviously
